The NR series Nubbins Receiver Hooks were designed for helicopter ”long-line” operations, in single or dual cage installation, to engage, transport and release external loads. Their features specifically designed for logging and construction operations make them the standard of the industry. 

Each unit is proof tested prior to release.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

• Use swaged Nubbins Button (“Ball”) chokers that allows for easy and fast multiple loading 

• Load rails accommodate up to 5 chokers 

• The load is resting on rails, relieving the stop and release mechanism from up to 70% of the forces – this leads to high reliability and reduced maintenance 

• Side plate stiffeners allow for “side pulls” that occur when lifting multiple dispersed loads. 

• Light release mechanism added for opening with only 5lb. load (or weight of the chokers) swagged chockers 

• High strength Steel / Aluminum construction

• Electrical and manual release

• Positive locking mechanism and low voltage opening

• Safety factor used for ultimate designed strength is 4

• Protective cage mounting is standard

• Dual receiver configuration allows high load capacities and in case of an overload the pilot can release the excess load from either receiver

• Rubberized cages available to help prevent static charge shocks

• Cages have been designed to accept SWA swivels or SA-P Shock absorbers
